TNA Wrestling held another set of Impact tapings from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida on Saturday.
Please note, we aren’t clear on the air dates as of this writing.
Due to multiple episodes being taped, it is not fully determined how certain things will air on TV.
Kurt Angle came to the ring and took a microphone. He said last week there was some controversy over the ending of the main event and calls out Lashley. Lashley comes to the ring. Lashley said last week something did not feel right. Angle did not win last week, Lashley said his shoulder was up and they have tape to prove it. They show the tape with Angle rolling up Lashley and his shoulder was clearly up. Lashley said the Angle he knows would not accept that as a victory. Angle says he will not back down from defending this title. He said he beat him once he will beat him again. Angle says they will so Angle Lashley one more time tonight. Eric Young comes out and says no. Eric says they need to look at the rankings and he says he is the number one contender. He said he made Roode tap and calls Roode and Lashley losers. He said he is next in line and demands the shot. Lashley tells Eric to shut up and earn his spot. A brawl ensues and Eric mule kicks Angle. Lashley then inadvertently speared Angle when aiming for Eric. Eric leaves. Lashley goes to help Angle out but he is too out of it and leaves. Angle gets to his feet and says he will defend the title against both of them in a three way match tonight.
The Revolution of James Storm, Abyss, Manik, and Khoya came to the ring. Storm sat in a chair and cut a promo saying he had different expectations for the group. Storm wonders to himself if he is the one that failed them. He gave each of them chances and they all failed. He also said that The Great Sanada will never be seen here again. He picked each of them for a reason but there can always be room for one less. Storm says that he is going to be in this tag tournament and one of them will join him. He says particularly to Abyss that he is no longer a monster anymore and says they will fight to did out which of them teams with him. Storm tells the ref that the only rule is there has to be a winner.
Match 1) In a Triple Threat Match, Khoya defeated Manik and Abyss via a Sky High on Manik to earn the right to be Storm’s partner.
The Rising came out for a promo and Drew talked about changing professional wrestling for the better. He introduces Camacho and Shaun Ricker, the former who is known as Mika (mike-uh pronunciation, not sure on the spelling) who talked about his lineage and standing up for his friends and family. Shaun Ricker (now known as Eli Drake) who says they are three guys with a common bond and they all have something to prove. Drew says that there is light at the end of the tunnel and tells the fans to stand up and tells MVP that he no longer runs this place as is ready to give the BDC a war. The BDC of MVP, Kenny King, and Low Ki come to ringside and MVP takes a mic and questions them trying to make a name off the BDC and tells them that their story ends tonight. All six get into a brawl until security and referees come out to break them up as the crowd chants to let them fight. The Rising get back in the ring and says this is pro wrestling. They want to fight each other, the fans want it, and asks for a six man tag and asks for someone in the back to please stand up.
Match 2) In a six man tag, The Rising defeated the BDC by DQ when a masked man attacked Drew. He unmasked and it was Homicide. The four of them stood tall over The Rising.
Match 3) Davey Richards defeated DJ Z via a kick to the head.
Match 4) In a TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match, Kurt Angle defeated Lashley and Eric Young via a moonsault by Angle to Lashley’s knee (which had been worked on during the match.)
After the match, Eric Young attacked Lashley’s knee with a chair and put him in the Figure Four until refs pulled him off of Lashley and attended to Lashley.
Pretty certain this was the end of the 4/3 show but it is sort of unclear.
Possibly Airing on April 10, 2015
Match 1) Awesome Kong defeated Gail Kim with a sit-out powerbomb.
Match 2) In a qualifying match for the tag team tournament, EC3 and Bram w/Tyrus defeated Tigre Uno and Jay Rios. I would assume it is Jonathan Cruz of Dos Ben Dejos, who wrestled under a mask and came out with a cape. Why EC3 and Bram were made a team is unknown to me.
Match 3) In what appeared to be a tag tournament match, Austin Aries & Bobby Roode defeated The Bromans (Robbie E & Jessie Godderz) via a 450 Splash from Aries on Godderz.
After the match, Godderz and Robbie got into words and started brawling. DJ Z ran out and separated them. Robbie shoved Z and Jessie walked out on both of them.
Eric Young came out for a promo. He said he is not a person to be mess with. He has been telling everyone even the ones that don’t want to listen that he is not happy. He said Angle has been ducking him and calls him out. Angle comes to the ring and talks about how Eric has changed, including dumping his former best friend Bobby Roode on his head and attacking people with their back turned. Eric said their is a hole in his chest and the only thing that will fill it is winning the title. Angle says when they wrestle next week he wants the old Eric Young to wrestle of he can be like how he is now and attack him behind his back like a coward. Angle turns his back to him. Eric says into the mic that he will see him next week.
Match 4) In what appeared to be a tag tournament match, Low Ki and Kenny King defeated Rockstar Spud and Mr. Anderson. When the ref was distracted when Low Ki slid a chair in the ring and Anderson picked it up, he hit a double stomp from the top on Spud (after he hit an Acid Drop on Kenny King) and put King on top of Spud for the pin.
Christy Hemme was in the ring with the Knockouts (Champion Taryn Terrell, Angelina, Madison, Brooke, and Gail.) An upcoming episode of Impact labeled “TKO” for Total Knockouts will happen soon with new Knockouts. On the show will be
Angelina Love vs Madison Rayne vs Gail Kim vs Brooke to crown a number one contender. Taryn Terrell defends the Knockout’s Championship against Awesome Kong also on that show. They all took turns putting over the division before Angelina and Madison got into words with Gail. Taryn took a mic and told Kong that she is not afraid of her. Kong came to the ring and Taryn said it to her face as well before striking her. A big brawl ensued with Taryn diving onto everyone from the top rope and posing for the fans.
From backstage, Kurt Angle and Homicide brawled to the ring. The BDC eventually came to save Homicide before The Rising ran them off. Eric Young ended up in the ring and teased laying out Kurt before deciding against it smiling and walking to the back.
Match 1) Mandrews defeated Manik with a Shooting Star Press
